A special trauma informed offering that holds space to explore the impact of sound, vibration and co-regulation on the nervous system. This 30 minute class includes a brief, gentle warm up for the upper body, accessible breathwork and vocal toning practices such as singing, humming, chanting and mantra.
Vocal toning offers a sense of calm and focus by increasing nitric oxide in the body and stimulating the "rest and digest" part of the nervous system. When practiced in community, it also offers the benefit of co-regulation, or attuning to a felt sense of safety, ease and connection within the presence of others who are tuned in to the same.
This class is beginner friendly, accessible to any level of student. No experience or singing ability necessary.
