Training content includes 2 core concepts, the mind-body connection + resilience. Here is a little more about the topics covered related to each:
Mind-Body Connection/ physiology + neuroscience of trauma, polyvagal theory, trauma responses+ toxic stress, research that supports the use of yoga and mindfulness as mechanisms to mitigate the effects of trauma, yoga philosophy and energy bodies related to trauma
Resilience/verbal cues, language, the power of choice, responding to triggers, hands-on adjustments, asana/ somatic practices, tools for grounding + self-regulation, boundaries, ethical, cultural and social justice considerations / intersections with trauma
